Method
When writing an opinion piece, remember the OREO method:
First, state your OPINION using one of the phrases below to begin your opinion sentence.
Then, give a REASON using one of the phrases below to begin your reason sentence.
Next, give EXAMPLES or EVIDENCE to prove your reason using some of the suggestions below.
Finally, restate your OPINION.
Follow the suggestions below.
