Bag of Summer Fun

As a fun way to wrap up the school year, it is a fourth grade tradition to create a

“Bag of Summer Fun”.

The teachers will provide a bag for each student.

The students are asked to bring in cheap, fun, summer items to fill the bags.

Each student should bring enough items to cover his or her class including themselves!

Mappes and Rawlins-17 each
Wardell- 16 each.

Ideas include bubbles, play dough, water guns, balls, etc.

The Dollar Tree is a GREAT place to find a plethora of inexpensive summer items.

Each student is invited and encouraged to participate, but this is certainly NOT mandatory!

Every student will receive a bag, so the more that participate,

the more fun treats each student will end up with!

If you choose to participate, the items are due in to your child's teacher by Monday, May 21.

AWARDS DAY

Awards Day-Friday, May 25^th at 8:15

It is hard to believe the end of another school year will soon be here.  
We have so enjoyed getting to know these kids and preparing them for 5^th grade!  
We will have awards at 8:15 on Friday, May 25^{th 
 in your child's classroom.}  
Parents are invited to attend.  
We will dismiss as soon as award presentations are over.  
Parents and students that would like to attend are then invited up to the Nicholson Center for the 5^th grade graduation program so that they can see what is in store next year!  
If you and your child will NOT be attending awards day on Friday, please email your child’s teacher so they we may give him or her their awards on Thursday since they won’t be attending on Friday.
