Thank you so much for helping with the canned food drive.
The fourth grade was very instrumental in helping replenish the
Walton County food bank.
Your generosity will provide food for many families in our community.

Our field trip is this Wednesday, December 12th.
Students AND chaperones please take a minute to read the info below.

Click the link below for chaperones and their assigned students:

Everyone - please read the following info carefully before our trip.
  • Students will be allowed (and encouraged) to wear their Sunday or Christmas best to this performance - (NO JEANS PLEASE).
  • Students MUST ride the bus with the grade to the Fox but will be allowed to check out with chaperone parents after the program.
  • Make sure your child is in their classroom by the normal time (8:15).
  • If your child is riding the bus back with us after the field trip, they will need to bring a sack lunch and drink (with a screw top).
  • We will return to the school around 1:45, so students riding the bus back to GWA will go home their normal way after school.
  • If you are listed above as a chaperone, you will be allowed to check your child out after the performance.  Please make sure you help any child in your group back to the bus if they are riding back with us to GWA before leaving with your own child.  Thank you.
  • If your child will be checking out with another adult and you are not chaperoning, you will need to fill out a form stating your child has permission to ride home with that adult.  Your child can get this form from their teacher.
Know Before You Go:
·       Payment WILL NOT be accepted at the theatre. Seats WILL NOT be sold at the theatre.  All chaperones listed above have a "sticker ticket" which they can pick up at school with Mrs. Wardell.  If you would prefer your child bring home the ticket, you will need to send her a Remind message letting her know.  CHAPERONES:  YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED INTO THE PERFORMANCE WITHOUT THIS TICKET!  Please read the highlighted section below directly from The Fox!
·       The performance begins promptly at 11:00am.
·       Please plan to arrive at least 60 minutes prior to the performance start time.
·       This is an abbreviated, one-hour performance with no intermission. There will be a technical demonstration mid-performance.
·         If you have parents/chaperones in your group arriving separately from the bus, they will need entry stickers to gain theatre access. They will not be allowed to enter the theatre without these stickers. These individuals should enter through the main entrance on Peachtree Street NE and meet their group inside.
·        Parents/chaperones who arrive separately are not guaranteed seating with our school group if you are NOT there waiting in the lobby to walk in with our group when we arrive.
·       The concession stand will not be available for this performance, but the Atlanta Ballet Boutique will be open for souvenir purchase.
Chaperones will need to help their students get safely to the bus before leaving with their own student.

Below are some helpful tips provided by The Fox Theatre to help make your experience more enjoyable:

SECURITY:
Your security is of the utmost importance to us!  Each guest will be required to pass through a security checkpoint in order to gain entrance into the theatre.  Magnetometers will be in use.  Prohibited items include weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, pepper spray, etc), bags larger than 8.5”x11”, illegal substances, outside food and beverage, animals or pets, and professional cameras. Thank you for your cooperation!
